This includes enabling technology, software, and vehicle modifications that offer habilitative benefit. Funding for this equipment has an annual cap and is dependent on medical necessity and PASSE approval.

 

• Environmental Modifications: Environmental modifications are modifications made to a place of residence that enable functioning with greater independence. This includes wheelchair ramps, sidewalks, fencing, widening doorways, and specialized electrical or plumbing systems. Environmental modifications have an annual funding cap and are dependent on medical necessity and PASSE approval.

 

• Supportive Living: Supportive living services are individually tailored habilitative services and activities that allow for individuals with disabilities to successfully reside in their own homes, with family, or in an alternative living setting.
